Resign! – Bercerita mengenai keseharian Cungpret (Kacung Kampret), istilah yang disematkan kepada bawahan bos yang kerjaannya hanya disuruh-suruh di kantor tapi dengan pekerjaan segunung. Cungpret terdiri dari 4 orang yang dipimpin oleh bos Cungpret. Alranita, Cungpret #1 sang pemeran utama di novel ini adalah seorang analis di sebuah financing company yang kesehariannya dipenuhi dengan meeting, kerja, dan lembur. Di sela-sela pekerjaannya Alranita kerap kali bercanda tawa gosipin si bos Cungpret, alias Tigran yang dijuluki bujang lapuk, gila kerja, dan galak minta ampun. 

Keempat orang dari Cungpret berusaha berlomba-lomba untuk resign dari pekerjaannya yang sekarang, namun di antara mereka selalu gagal untuk mengajukan surat resign yang disebabkan berbagai hal. Tapi tiba-tiba saja ada seseorang anonymous yang mengajukan surat resign ke HRD tanpa memberitahu teman satu sama lain, siapakah dia?

Selain komedi-komedi seputar kantor, novel ini juga memberikan bumbu-bumbu romansa di kantor antara bos dan pegawai, yang kalau dibaca gemees banget. Hahahaha, that’s my favorite storyline di mana terjadi love and hate relationship. Bukan cuma itu, aku juga suka romansa antara orang yang sama-sama cerdas dan berkelas, kaya pendekatannya next level aja gitu. 

Fyi aku baca buku ini hanya sekitar 3 hari-an aja, karena saking seru, ngakak, dan pemotongan tiap bab-nya pendek-pendek jadi aku terasa cepet banget bacanya.

Resign! – The story follows the daily lives of the "Cungpret" team (short for "Kacung Kampret"), a nickname for office workers who constantly get bossed around while buried under piles of work. The team consists of four people led by their boss, known as the "Cungpret Boss." Alranita, Cungpret #1 and the main character, works as an analyst at a financing company where her days are filled with meetings, work, and endless overtime. In between all that, she often jokes around and gossips about her boss, Tigran, who’s known as a grumpy, workaholic bachelor.

The four Cungpret members are all competing to quit their jobs, but for one reason or another, they always fail to submit their resignation letters. Then suddenly, someone anonymously sends a resignation letter to HR without telling the others. So, who was it?

Inside Nora’s Mind🙋🏻‍♀️

Aside from all the office comedy, this novel also adds a touch of workplace romance between the boss and an employee, which is just so cute to read. Hahaha, that’s honestly my favorite part, especially the whole love-hate relationship thing. I also love how the romance is between two smart and classy people, it just feels like their connection is on another level.

FYI, it only took me around three days to finish this book because it was so fun and hilarious, plus each chapter is super short so it felt like such a quick read.
